After a distinguished career in Human Resources, including over 15 years with Catapult, Renée Watkins will be retiring at the end of May. Renée is a lead HR Advisor on our HR Advice team. Over her 15 years at Catapult, Renée counseled thousands of HR professionals and company leaders on all things HR and management. I’ve already heard from many HR professionals at member organizations who will miss Renée’s wise counsel, as will all of us in the Catapult family.
My career at Catapult has been rewarding, challenging, and extremely satisfying. I have had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people. I cannot be more thankful for the thousands of member organizations and the individuals within the Management and HR teams of those organizations with whom I have worked and formed such meaningful relationships. I hope my years of interactions have provided you the confidence to navigate everyday operational challenges, making your workplace more effective and you and your employees more successful. To say a simple “thank you” for the opportunities you have afforded me does not seem to be enough. I truly appreciate you and will miss talking with you more than you know. I am excited about this new journey. It comes with mixed emotions of course, as any new adventure does. There will be lots of joy and time with my grandchildren, family, and friends. I hope to write some, play a lot, and love on my dogs. My exceptional co-workers are eager and ready to talk with you, so reach out to them. You can place your trust in them as you have in me. They are amazing! May our paths cross again and your life be filled with joy.
Please join us in thanking Renée for the incredible journey and in wishing her well in her next chapter. Many have asked how to send Renée well wishes.
Until May 25, feel free to email her at email@example.com. After May 25, you can send a note to our Raleigh office at the address below and we’ll be sure to send them to Renée.
