Corporate Social Responsibility Manager – Raleigh

Responsibilities:
• Champion the lottery’s CSR program, raising awareness and education about CSR both internally and externally.
• Serve as project manager and writer in support of the initiative to ensure top-level certification of the lottery’s responsible gaming program, including setting goals and deadlines for recertification and tracking progress on meeting those goals.
• Produce content for the lottery’s Play Smart program and other responsible gaming initiatives such as training for employees and the lottery’s 7000 + retailers across NC.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with external partners such as National Council on Problem Gambling and the N.C. Problem Gambling Program.
• Produce PR and communications content to raise awareness on responsible gaming and problem gambling to both the public and employees.
• Serves as editor and writer for the lottery’s annual Report to the Public.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
• At least three years’ experience in communications, public relations, marketing.
• Advanced skills in production of written documents and engaging presentations for internal and external groups, including use of presentation applications such as PowerPoint.
• Experience in leading and managing company reports/newsletters from conception to delivery.
• Experience in corporate social responsibility strongly preferred.
• Excellent editing, writing skills and strong public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram.

***This position is eligible for telework, but candidates must reside in NC***

Hiring Rate: $76,836 This exempt position will be hired at or near the stated rate.
