Granville Vance Public Health is currently accepting applications for the position of Front Office Manager for Clinical Services. Through the NC Office of State Human Resources, this position is listed officially as an Administrative Officer I. This full-time position serves both the Granville and Vance County Health Departments. The person in this position will work closely with the Deputy Health Director, Medical Director, Nursing Director, and Medicaid Transformation Lead to manage clinic support systems, oversee billing, analyze data, provide ongoing performance reports, and lead others.

The primary purpose of the Front Office Manager for Clinical Services is to manage processes, data, implement quality improvements, monitor revenue cycles, report progress to leadership, and lead the Management Support Team. Work involves planning, communicating, implementing, and monitoring processes as well as creating new solutions to ensure the integration of the strategic direction of a local health department’s clinical service. Interpretation and enforcement of policies and procedures to ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local government regulations is a requirement of the position. The front office manager for clinical services will cultivate a strong working relationship with multiple teams, maintain transparency, collaboration, and integration across clinic and management support and billing.

The candidate must possess knowledge and a strong command of principles and practices of effective communications, both orally and in writing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of experience in personnel, budgeting, research, or administrative management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five (5) years of administrative experience in personnel, budgeting, research, or administrative management is preferred. Experience in effective organizational communications, supervision, or management of a governmental program is preferred.
