ABOUT THE JOB:
CustomerHD is looking for a HR Business Partner who will help create an environment where all team members truly feel NEEDED in their roles and KNOWN as people. We are looking for a strategic, motivated and customer service-oriented professional who can maintain an effective level of business and practice knowledge and build strong relationships with team members to deliver value-added service aligned with business objectives that contributes to the company’s growth and enhances the culture.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for others

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage leaves of absence including communication through return to work
Facilitate documentation for movement within the organization including promotions, transfers, etc.
Analyze trends and metrics for a variety of HR functions and partners with HR team members and other leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues including conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Manage onboarding and termination processes
Provides day-to-day support for HR inquiries including policy guidance and interpretation
Works closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
Facilitates meetings with team members as needed
Consults with management to provide guidance when appropriate
Support recruiting efforts and engagement events as needed
Other duties as assigned

Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices and the administrative practices related to those factors
Proficient with HRIS, Google, Microsoft Office Suite and related software

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues and managing processes including leaves of absence, onboarding and terminations
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, diversity, performance management and federal/state/municipality employment laws
High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Professional HR certification preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office environment with prolonged periods of working on a computer with standing desk (may sit or stand)
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary: $65,000-75,000 a year
