RegEd is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to directly impact the organization by working on key initiatives to achieve a culture that embraces all employees, standardization of HR processes, procedures, policies and documents, and strengthening the organizational structure. Candidate will perform a variety of HR – related tasks in some or all of the following functional areas: training, compliance, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, performance management and reporting.  This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources.

What You Will Be Doing

Act as primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related topics.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and an HRIS system, preferably ADP Workforce Now.

Use the HRIS system to produce department reports on hiring statistics, turnover, and provide organization data to facilities and IT.

Interpret company policies and answer related questions.  Learn and maintain policies in RegEd’s BLR product.

Provide support on specific tasks and projects, including internal training programs, awards, orientation follow-up and engagement.

Responsible for RegEd’s ergonomic assessments, filing Worker’s Comp claims, Safety and other programs as assigned.

Audits the HR department for compliance. Maintains on-going personnel files on all employees.   Manages the terminated files.   Documents process and procedure.

Assist with various onboarding and off boarding tasks for employees and contractors

What you need for this position

HRIS: 2+ years

HR generalist: 3+ years

MS Office Suite: 3+ years

Energetic personality with an approachable demeanor that can work well in a collaborative environment.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas and to summarize issues.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.

Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.

High desire to grow and progress career

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.

Minimum 3 years in a Human Resources Generalist or equivalent role.

Knowledge of HR concepts, practices, policies and procedures; federal/state laws and regulations. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.

Must have knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC and OFCCP.
