MCO Transport is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to provide direction & administration for all aspects of HR within the organization. Experience with recruiting positions subject to DOT regulation preferred. Stable, family-owned & oriented organization, looking for someone to help us achieve growth objectives.
Responsibilities include:
-Ensure corporate compliance with drug testing program, record keeping, state & federal requirements
-Handle EEO, OSHA, wage & hour issues, counsel supervisors in personnel concerns, recommend training & professional development as needed.
-Administer worker’s compensation claims, monitor safety & training concerns company-wide
-Responsible for recruiting and retention, monitoring employment needs & screening applicants
-Participate in solving human resource issues, training and placement of new employees
-implement employee benefits program, direct contract renewals, & provide education on benefits to all employees
-Research, develop and conduct orientation and training programs
-Maintain employee handbook, recommend policy changes and distribute updates as needed.
-Supervise HR & recruiting staff
