Job Summary:
The Sr. Human Resources (HR) Manager provides leadership and direction for all HR functions at the Greenville NC manufacturing site to achieve strategic goals through human capital. This is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our employees, and leaders. The HR Manager is a consulting partner to management on Human Resource related issues such as employee relations, performance management, staffing, change management, and compensation. The successful HR Manager will act as a change agent for culture evolution and process improvement. The HR Manager is instrumental in developing positive employee engagement structures and community outreach programs at their respective facility.

The HR Manager forms partnerships with management to create superior relationships to facilitate the attainment of the organization’s business objectives while developing the capabilities of those at the facility. The Sr. HR Manager is expected to maintain an effective level of business literacy regarding the business unit’s financial position, and business plans. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Key responsibilities:
• Directly supervise, lead & develop a team of professionals in HR providing strategic direction and guidance. Coaching and mentoring leaders to help them achieve the goals that support Attindas Hygiene Partners strategic initiatives
• Serves on the local Business team to establish the strategic direction of the organization; acts as the barometer for the impact of strategic decisions on people
• Develop, preserve, and enhance a culture that makes people want to work at Attindas, stay with us for long and happy careers, and feel fulfilled as they do meaningful work
• Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources department
• Gather data, analyze, and organize into formats that support strategic decision making
• Oversee hourly recruitment process for full cycle recruitment
• Partners with Attindas TA team to guide recruitment efforts to support Greenville salaried hiring needs.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers on general employee relations initiatives such as the interviewing and hiring process, candidate screening, salary administration and performance management.
• With appropriate corporate/local partnerships manage the salary increase, performance management and bonus year-end process as well as review and recommend changes for hourly wage and progression system as well as manage and ensure accuracy and effectiveness of the Pilot manufacturing bonus program.
• Directs and/or performs internal investigations of escalated employee claims; Manages the resolution of significant employee issues.
• Partner with VP HR and local business owners on strategic initiatives. Provide counsel and input on possible impacts of decisions. Provide recommendations & assistance on key strategic activities in the interest of ensuring a positive work culture and to continually improve the HR function.
• Leads and manages all compliance, regulatory, and legal related issues including governmental inquiries.
• Identifies, develops, and coordinates with corporate to strategically develop and implements and integrate policy and procedures.
• Develops and maintains Greenville Affirmative Action Plan.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with ten or more year’s applicable Human Resources generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
• PHR/SHRM-CP Certification
• Considerable knowledge of Human Resource principles and practices and applicable state and federal laws
• Expertise in positive employee and labor relations techniques
• Strong conflict resolution and performance management skills
• Experience coaching managers and employees for effective skill building
• Experience leading process improvement and quality HR programs
• Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Background in employment law and other government compliance

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management
• SPHR
