1-800-PACK-RAT is in search of a Corporate Recruiter that has at least 3 solid years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience for hard-to-fill hourly positions. This role will be a pivotal part of the company’s growth. This person is a self-starter, upbeat, positive personality, and connects naturally with people. As a Corporate Recruiter, you will work in a fast-paced environment where the needs of the business often change. Core Responsibilities:
• Utilizes multi-channel sourcing strategies to source and qualify online applicants effectively
• Pre-screens candidates by conducting thorough initial interviews
• Manages all candidates through Applicant Tracking System
• Thoroughly presents qualified candidates to hiring managers, highlighting skills and abilities unique to each candidate
• Works closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of their teams, create job descriptions, and coordinate interviews
• Performs thorough reference and background checks
• Processes all pre- and post-hire paperwork (I9 verifications, background checks, drug testing)
• Stays connected with candidates to ensure they are engaged and happy in their new roles
• Provide a great candidate experience from application to offer
• Create ways to improve processes and experiences (for both candidates and hiring managers alike)
• Ensure top-notch communication with hiring teams, managers, and candidates, as well as soliciting timely feedback
• Assist in special projects with the HR team that may stretch beyond recruiting

Requirements:
• Experience recruiting for hourly, salary, and hard to fill positions such as drivers
• Experience working in a high-volume staffing environment with a focus on peak and regular season hiring
• Effective negotiation, influencing, communication skills, and ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent sourcing skills, understanding of market dynamics and challenges
• Ability to meet deadlines and understand the urgency surrounding business needs
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Practices unbiased hiring
• Adaptable/flexible and enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
• Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
• Strong organization skills, including detail orientation with strong follow up and follow-through skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Education and Experience:
• 3-5 year(s) of full-cycle recruitment processes, sourcing tools, and methods
• BS/BA Degree in HR or related field is preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Position requires ability to exchange ideas quickly and clearly and the ability to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions. Light physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving lightweight material with occasional lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 5 and up to 25 pounds).
