Benefits Administrator

About This Role

The Benefits Administrator will manage employee benefits programs across a portfolio of Catapult HR client organizations. You’ll coordinate health, dental, vision, life, and ancillary benefit enrollments; administer ACA compliance and reporting; manage COBRA notifications and elections; and lead open enrollment processes for clients. This is a high-ownership role that requires both technical benefits knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly with employees and HR managers at client organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefit enrollments for client organizations
  • Manage COBRA administration including qualifying event notifications and election tracking
  • Lead open enrollment processes: planning, communication, system setup, and reconciliation
  • Ensure ACA compliance including 1094/1095-C preparation and filing
  • Reconcile monthly carrier invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Respond to employee and employer benefit inquiries with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain accurate benefits data in HRIS and benefits administration systems

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of benefits administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of ACA compliance, COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA
  • Experience with benefits administration platforms (BenefitFocus, bswift, Employee Navigator preferred)
  • CEBS designation or progress toward certification preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
  • Experience supporting multiple employer groups simultaneously a strong plus
