Modern Slavery Statement

Catapult Employers Association is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains.
Effective Date: March 27, 2026

Our Commitment

Catapult Employers Association (referred to as “Catapult,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We are dedicated to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or in any of our supply chains.

About Catapult

Catapult is a comprehensive HR services organization that has served employers for over 65 years. We provide human resources consulting, compliance services, benefits administration, payroll, talent acquisition, training, and technology solutions to businesses of all sizes nationwide. Our team consists of seasoned HR professionals, employment law advisors, and business consultants.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
We maintain the following policies that are relevant to this commitment:
  • Code of Conduct: Our code establishes the standards of behavior expected of all employees, contractors, and business partners.
  • Recruitment Policy: We conduct rigorous checks on all employees and contractors to confirm their right to work and ensure fair employment practices. We pay all employees at or above applicable minimum wages.
  • Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage all employees, customers, and business partners to report any concerns related to our activities or supply chains. This includes any circumstances that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
  • Supplier Code of Conduct: We expect our suppliers to adhere to ethical business practices and comply with all applicable laws, including those relating to modern slavery and human trafficking.

Due Diligence Processes

As part of our efforts to identify and mitigate risk, we have implemented the following due diligence processes:
  • Evaluating potential suppliers and contractors before entering into business relationships
  • Conducting periodic reviews of our supply chains to assess and address risks of modern slavery
  • Requiring compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct as a condition of doing business
  • Maintaining internal reporting mechanisms for employees to raise concerns without fear of retaliation
  • Providing training to relevant staff on identifying and responding to signs of modern slavery

Risk Assessment

We assess the risk of modern slavery occurring in our business and supply chains by considering the nature of our services, the geographic regions in which we operate, and the types of suppliers we engage. As a professional services organization operating primarily in the United States, we consider our overall risk to be low. However, we remain vigilant and committed to continuous improvement in this area.

Training and Awareness

We provide training to our staff to ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. Our training programs are designed to help employees identify potential indicators of forced labor, servitude, and trafficking, and to understand the appropriate steps to take if they suspect such activity.

Measuring Effectiveness

We use the following key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of our efforts to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains:
  • Number and nature of reports received through our whistleblowing and reporting channels
  • Completion rates of relevant training programs
  • Results of supplier due diligence assessments
  • Audit outcomes related to labor practices and working conditions
