Two Years Running: Catapult Named One of North Carolina’s Best Employers for 2026

We talk to companies every day about building workplaces people are proud of. This year, we got to prove we mean it.

Business North Carolina named Catapult one of North Carolina’s Best Employers for 2026. That’s two years in a row. The list ranks the best places to work in North Carolina, and we’re glad to be back on it.

We don’t just talk about great workplaces. We build one.

Helping employers take care of their people is the whole reason we exist. We coach companies on culture, leadership, compliance, and the everyday work of doing right by employees. So we hold ourselves to the same standard we set for everyone else.

This award means we practice what we preach. And that’s because of our team. They believe in this work, and they show it every day.

A great workplace is never finished

A Best Employer award isn’t something you win once and stick on a shelf. Work keeps changing. What people need from their employer changes right along with it. The companies that stay good at this are the ones that keep listening and keep adjusting.

That’s the work we love. We spent our recent conference talking through exactly this with the HR leaders and companies we serve. Nobody handed out a playbook. We worked out what’s coming next together.

That’s what this award is really about.

How the Best Employers list works

This isn’t a popularity contest. Business North Carolina works with Workforce Research Group to survey employees directly, with dozens of questions about leadership, benefits, communication, and trust. The people who do the work decide.

Forty-nine companies across the state made the 2026 list. We’re proud to be one of them.

And yes, we celebrated

We accepted the award at the Best Employers Gala on June 24 at Elon University. If you know our team, you know we showed up ready to have fun. There were leis. There were flowers. There was dancing.

That’s not a gala thing. That’s a regular Tuesday at Catapult.
