Professionalism is one of the most practical skills you can build. It shapes how quickly people trust you, how your work is received, and how much latitude you are given when things do not go perfectly. What reads as professional today is less about appearance and more about how consistently you show up: responsive, clear, and accountable, whether you are across the table or across a screen. Investing in professionalism shapes how others see you, and it shapes the culture of your whole team.

Ann Verdine-Jones, MBA, is a Human Resource professional with more than 30 years of experience. While Ann has successfully managed all areas of HR, her recent ventures include an adjunct faculty appointment, consulting with organizations nationally on strategic initiatives, leadership coaching and development, and cross-sectional team building. As an experienced curriculum developer, Ann has successfully designed and implemented dynamic educational programs tailored to diverse audiences. Ann has collaborated with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and educators to ensure curricula are relevant, inclusive, and impactful. Her expertise in integral digital learning tools and adapting content for various learning styles has contributed to the success of numerous workshops and training programs. Ann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regent University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University.
