About this course
What this course covers
Participants will examine issues related to inclusion and discuss strategies for fostering a welcoming workplace, current trends, and the advantages of having a varied and inclusive work environment. They will explore various aspects of individuality, including culture, race, gender, age, language, socioeconomic background, ability, and generational differences.
Who should attend. All managers: new/experienced and first-line/middle/senior.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to describe four types of diversity with examples of each, describe equity in the workplace, list strategies for creating belonging in the workplace, and discuss the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workplace. This course is part of Advanced Management I: The Relational Leader (TRL) Certificate Program.
