What this course covers
By the end of this course you will understand the basics of FMLA, including employee eligibility and covered leave reasons, and be able to define serious health conditions under the law. You will learn the intent and practical implications of job reinstatement, strategies for combatting perceived FMLA abuse, and the required notices and rules around medical certifications. You will also be able to coach leaders on what to look out for in employee absences and when to contact the leave administrator.
