What this course covers
Because Team Leaders do not typically have the power of authority, they must learn specialized skills in communication, coaching, problem-solving, and motivation to achieve maximum performance. To do this, Team Leaders must strengthen their abilities to influence, motivate, set goals, clarify expectations, and train team members. They must possess the skills to communicate effectively, give feedback, coach, manage conflict, and handle any multitude of challenges.
This interactive 4-module program will help Team Leaders establish a strong foundation for success. Through self-assessment, lively discussions, small-group breakout exercises, and interactive technology, participants will develop the skills they need to successfully lead their teams to achieve maximum performance.

She enjoys an excellent reputation for developing and implementing new, creative initiatives and innovative programs designed to maximize employee productivity and overall organization effectiveness. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Project Manager.
Ashley Wood

Ashley is an accomplished business and people leader with more than 20 years of experience driving organizational success through strategic insight and a deep understanding of human behavior in the workplace. Throughout her career, Ashley has held executive, operations, and human resources leadership roles across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, hospitality, education, retail, and manufacturing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management, and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Certified Executive Coach (CEC), and Certified Change Manager (CCM). Since joining Catapult in 2020, Ashley has served as both an advisor and, more recently, a contract facilitator and content creator.
Melani Winter

Melani Winter is an innovative, results-driven professional with a strong background in curriculum design, program development, and training assessment. Based in Raleigh, NC, Melani holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s in History from Cornerstone University. She has excelled as a Program Specialist for the North Carolina State Board of Elections and as a Training Specialist for the Wake County Board of Elections, where she developed engaging, learner-centered training programs and facilitated effective communication across diverse audiences.
