Are you considering stepping into a supervisory role? If so, join our interactive program designed to help you understand what it takes to be a successful supervisor. This course is tailored for non-supervisors and will prepare you for the expectations and responsibilities of a supervisory position. Participants will engage in lively group discussions, explore real-world examples, assess their current skill sets, and learn about the challenges and rewards of transitioning from an individual contributor to a supervisor.

The skills and abilities that make employees excellent individual contributors are different from those required to be effective supervisors or managers. As an individual contributor, your performance is measured by your personal output and achievements. However, as a supervisor, your role shifts to overseeing and managing a team, providing leadership and guidance, and ensuring that your team meets its goals and performs effectively.

Who should attend. Individual contributors who are being considered for promotion to a supervisory role or are interested in being promoted to a supervisory position. Note: If you are already a supervisor, we recommend the Fundamentals of Supervision Certificate Program .
