Is HR training required by law in Texas?
Not for private employers. The only Texas training mandate, Labor Code section 21.010, covers state agency employees. Private employers still carry liability under chapter 21 and federal Title VII, and since 2021 Texas sexual harassment law reaches employers with a single employee. Documented manager training remains the standard defense.
Distance is not a barrier. All open-enrollment courses run live online, and Texas teams attend alongside peers nationwide. Because sessions are posted in Eastern Time, a noon Eastern start is an 11:00 AM seat locally. Private on-site delivery is the alternative when you want a room of your own people.
